British Council Hungary is looking to recruit an experienced and committed Teacher for adult and young learner courses starting in September 2018. The post is full time for 24 contracted teaching hours weekly and is available initially for 2 years.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of teaching a range of adult and young learner general courses. There will also be opportunities to teach examination preparation (predominantly IELTS) and business English.
Budapest is a small centre and the post offers an excellent opportunity to gain a wide variety of further teaching experience. The post-holder will need to be self-motivated and flexible.
You will also have the opportunity to work with other centres in the cluster (Prague and Bratislava) to standardise lesson planning and delivery as we move towards the implementation of new British Council products.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum qualifications are an undergraduate degree and a CELTA or equivalent ELT qualification.
- Applicants should have at least two years of post-certification teaching experience.
Applicants who do not have the minimum, or essential, qualifications and experience will not be shortlisted.
Deadline for application is 16 July. Shortlisting will take place shortly after the deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to arrange interviews. Start date is 5 September 2018.
