British Council is delighted to launch the People-to-People Project in Central Europe (P2P CE), supporting civic dialogue and innovation across the region. It has been funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), and will be delivered by British Council in areas of Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic. We are looking for local partners to co-deliver activity during the Pilot.

Deadline: 22 October 2018

Open to: local organisations active in the relevant fields

Amount: between £15,000-28,000

Project Overview

The programme aims to strengthen social cohesion, promoting co-creation in and between different groups. Activities will develop the infrastructure for social enterprise, and build the core skills to support this growth. They will also bring communities into a conversation with the UK, building the exchange of ideas and best practice long-term.

An initial five-month pilot is planned from 1 November 2018 to 31 March 2019, establishing a proof of concept under three key themes:

  1. Social Development
  2. Community/Applied Arts
  3. Schools and Core Skills

British Council is seeking organisations with a demonstrable track record in these fields, who can support delivery for the initial phase. Potential partners are invited to bid for all/any of the three strands, as fits their interests and experience. Please read the documents below carefully and ensure you meet all necessary criteria before completing an application.
