We offer a range of convenient test dates in Budapest, Hungary, all test dates (except IELTS Life Skills) are computer-based (in centre), or you can take your test from the comfort of your home or anywhere with a stable internet connection with IELTS Online (IELTS Academic only).

IELTS locations
British Council Hungary offers IELTS tests only in Budapest. All registrations are handled by the British Council in Budapest. Registration is done online.
You can choose your Speaking test date and start time when you book your test. You can access all information about your test day (dates, start times, venues) in your account on the Test Taker Portal.
Venues
Budapest: We deliver IELTS tests in two venues, in British Council and in Converzum-Tudomany Language School.

If you need a visa for working or studying in the UK, then in most cases you may need to take IELTS for UKVI or IELTS Life Skills.
